ALL COURSES HAVE CITY & GUILDS ACCREDITATION!

All of the training courses offered by Jetmasters are Water Jetting Association (WJA) Approved & Certificated, Accredited by City & Guilds (C&G) and are recognised by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE).

Take a look at the one day “Stand alone” Pressure Washing Course designed for those of you who use the smaller, lower power machines for general cleaning.

The following courses are for those who are involved in the larger, higher power machines starting with the one day Safety Awareness Course which is a general water jetting course with no practical sessions. A Certificate and Photocard are issued to successful trainees which is valid for a 3 year period.

Once a Safety Awareness course has been completed the trainee can, if required, then take any of the other one-day practical courses, such as:

  1. Drain & Sewer Cleaning
  2. Surface Cleaning
  3. Tube and Pipe Cleaning
  4. Hydro Demolition

Each practical course successfully passed by candidates will have a certificate awarded. These practical certificates have no expiry date, however, to be valid, they MUST be accompanied by an in-date Safety Awareness Certificate / Photocard. Certificates for all courses are issued by the Water Jetting Association.

Candidates are issued with a WJA Registration number with their Safety Awareness Certificate and records are kept & updated by the WJA. All courses are logged against this original registration number to show how a candidate progresses through his (her) career. WJA registrars maintain the full details of names, the certificates passed and the expiry date of their Safety Awareness Certificate. Copies remain on WJA files for exmployers to check that the operator is the person who passed the exam. The WJA now has this information available by fax, email & telephone and there are plans to have it available online at their website.

The courses can be run at your premises using the your own equipment, but where this is not possible we can locate a suitable nearby venue. The minimum number of delegates is 2 with no maximum for the Safety Awareness course and 8 maximum for the practical modules

If you have any questions on the validity of your Safety Awareness Certificate you can check this with the Water Jetting Association.
